What exactly is an HRV system?

An HRV (heat recovery ventilation) system continuously brings fresh air in and removes stale air, while recovering heat from the outgoing air. Result: a healthy indoor climate without wasting energy.

How much will I save on energy bills?

A good HRV system recovers up to 96% of the heat. For an average home that means 30-50% savings on heating and cooling, plus less moisture and mould.

Is the installation invasive?

When replacing usually not: existing ducts can often be reused, finished in one day. New installations take 3-5 working days depending on home size and duct routing.

Does the system need much maintenance?

Filters changed 1-2x per year (free with maintenance contract). Sensors signal when service is needed. Service visit: every 2-3 years for cleaning and balancing.

Does the system make noise?

Our installations are whisper-quiet: under 25 dB(A) during normal operation, comparable to a whisper. Sound dampers in the ducts mean you don't hear the system working.

Is there a subsidy available?

Yes, the Dutch ISDE subsidy gives €400 per HRV unit for homeowners. We arrange the application in the quote so you benefit immediately.
